Prudential Rocky Mountain, REALTORS in LovelandNorthern Colorado residents have associated the real estate field with the Warnock family for over 80 years. Four generations of Warnock's have been associated with Prudential Warnock Realty Co., the longest established real estate firm in Loveland, which is now part of Prudential Rocky Mountain REALTORS®. Willard Warnock began his career in 1922 in Loveland as an auctioneer for farms, ranches, livestock and homes. This was familiar territory to Willard, since his father, David Warnock, had owned several farms in the area and had previously subdivided some farmland for residential homes in the early 1900s. Licensed in Colorado and Wyoming, Willard was well-respected by farmers and ranchers in both states for his fairness and knowledge of land and water issues. His outgoing personality and generosity were familiar to many community residents. As a small business owner, Willard was a strong leader and mentor to the Loveland business sector. Bill Warnock joined his father in the real estate firm in 1947 and also began to work as an auctioneer. Tutored by Willard in the business, Bill began to focus in the areas of farms and ranches. The Grandview subdivision, one of the early planned residential areas in Loveland, was established and developed in the early 1950s by the Warnock Realty Company. A third generation of the Warnock family, Dave and John, joined the firm in the early 1970s. Currently, Dave is the managing broker of the company, with John focusing his efforts on new project developments and consulting with contractors and homebuilders. Jean Mackey, daughter of Bill, also joined the family-owned company in the 1990s as an agent, and John’s daughter, Sarah Warnock, joined the firm in 2003 as an agent. Warnock Realty Co. joined Prudential Real Estate Affiliates in 1991 to increase its name recognition to new residents relocating in northern Colorado. The association with Prudential has also allowed the real estate firm to assist clients on a national basis. This affiliation resulted in a name change to Prudential Warnock Realty Co., and enabled the firm to offer a tremendous number of services to both buyers and sellers. In January 2006, another change was made when Prudential Warnock joined four other northern Colorado Prudential real estate companies to form Prudential Rocky Mountain REALTORS®.
