Doug Bailard - Broker Associate, GRIDoug Bailard Puppy LoveThis morning my wife heard yipping that sounded like a puppy playing outside our window. We don't have a dog right now so she knew it wasn't ours. She looked out the windows and didn't see anything. She tried the other side of the house. Maybe it had wandered around there. Nothing. When Lois looked out the front door there was a pair of coyotes playing and chasing. Perhaps they were looking for a place to call home. It is spring when a young coyote's fancy turns to love! I'm sure coyotes have dens near our house as we hear them in the summer and see them often all year. Recently we had a real thrill at our house. A bobcat wandered up on our patio and curled up on a sunny ledge to snooze. While it was right outside a window and looked inside at me and our cat, it wasn't threatened and curled up to sleep. It stayed several hours before hopping down and going on its way. It was a beautiful animal with a gorgeous face and eyes and a spotted grey, dense coat. The Mountain Bluebirds are back, a spot of vibrant blue flitting through the air. Hummingbirds will be close behind. Deer and Elk browse on the grass shoots starting to green up. If you would like to live where some of your neighbors are coyotes, deer, elk, bobcats, bluebirds or hummingbirds, call me! Let me help you find that home or vacation home you dream of. |
